This compact variety, Polly, boasts smaller, more manageable foliage, making it an ideal choice for indoor spaces.

  • Small: between 6″ to 8″ tall, measured from the soil to the top of the foliage
  • Medium: between 14″ to 18″ tall from the soil to the top of the foliage

Care Guide

Alocasia Amazonica Poly / Elepant Ear / African Mask Native to India, Southeast Asia, Southern China, and the Southern Pacific islands.
  • Light: Does best in bright indirect light. Avoid intense direct sunlight which can burn the leaves
  • Water: Water once a week, try to maintain moist but not wet soil. Needs less water in winter.
  • Note: Avoid soggy soil which or allowing the soil to become completely dry.
  • Alocasia Amazonica are harmful if eaten by pets or children, so keep them out of reach
  • Browning leaf edges: extended periods of dryness, water more frequently.
  • Losing leaves: This is normal in Winter/Fall.
